Hola, mi nombre es David Arrieta, soy diseñador floral y las flores han sido por siempre mi pasión e inspiración. Es gracias a las flores que he tenido la oportunidad de viajar por muchos países y conocer muchas culturas diferentes, lo cual me permitió descubrir que a través de las flores se habla un lenguaje común en todos, el de transmitir sentimientos.
Nacer y crecer en un país con una biodiversidad tan exuberante como Costa Rica me ha permitido desarrollar esa sensibilidad que expreso en mis diseños florales. El respeto por la naturaleza, sus principios y elementos, hace que mis diseños florales sean un efectivo medio transmisor de sentimientos, que provocan en quien los recibe reacciones positivas de felicidad, amor, agradecimiento, amistad o consuelo. Pero además, con Flowers to Bloom busco la producción y promoción del arte (y la artesanía) floral sostenible con la aplicación de técnicas como el “upcycling” que, utilizado de manera creativa, me permite ofrecer productos hechos con materiales alternativos que sean más amigables con el medio ambiente y la naturaleza.
Contar con más de 20 años de experiencia en la industria floral, así como ser miembro activo del American Institute of Floral Designers® (AIFD®) y acreditado como Certified Floral Designer® (CFD®) por este mismo instituto, me permite ofrecer siempre diseños florales actualizados y de vanguardia, sin dejar de lado los estilos clásicos que siempre encantan y que nunca pasarán de moda. Participo continuamente en congresos florales, tanto como asistente como presentador invitado, donde he tenido la oportunidad de compartir conocimientos y aprender de grandes diseñadores florales de América, Europa y Asia.
Utilizando como materia prima flores naturales secas y preservadas, hacemos envíos a cualquier parte de España, Europa y el mundo de: ramilletes de flores listos para colocarse en un jarrón, centros ya elaborados para ser lucidos en cualquier mesa, corsages y boutoniers para esas ocasiones especiales, coronas de flores para colgar en las puertas y dar la bienvenida a quienes nos visitan, bouquets de novia que durarán por mucho tiempo, etc. etc. También ofrecemos una línea de artículos decorativos muy creativos y totalmente hechos a mano para que los luzcas en tu casa o trabajo, o como un regalo ideal y diferente.
Otra de mis pasiones es la formación floral. Como maestro internacional de diseño floral por más de 20 años he impartido talleres florales en Costa Rica, México, Panamá, Nicaragua, Colombia, Puerto Rico y España, por eso, en Flowers to Bloom también ofrezco cursos y talleres, tanto con flores naturales como en material seco y preservado, para aquellas personas que deseen aprender el bello arte del diseño floral, ya sea para iniciar un emprendimiento, para mejorar sus técnicas florales, o simplemente como un pasatiempo. Si te interesa programar conmigo un taller para un grupo de personas o una clase personalizada, puedes contactarme y lo coordinamos.
Pero en Flowers to Bloom no solo enviamos flores y arreglos, también enviamos sentimientos. Es a través del lenguaje de las flores que podemos transmitir, de una forma más efectiva, ese sentimiento para el que, en ocasiones, las palabras no son suficientes. Dilo con Flores… dilo con “Flowers to Bloom”!

About Flowers to Bloom
Hello, my name is David Arrieta, I am a floral designer and flowers have always been my passion and inspiration. It is thanks to the flowers that I have had the opportunity to travel to many countries and learn about many different cultures, which allowed me to discover that a common language is spoken through flowers, to convey feelings.
Being born and growing up in a country with such exuberant biodiversity as Costa Rica has allowed me to develop that sensitivity that I express in my floral designs. Respect for nature, its principles and elements, makes my floral designs an effective means of transmitting feelings, causing positive reactions of happiness, love, gratitude, friendship or consolation in those who receive them. But in addition, with Flowers to Bloom I seek the production and promotion of sustainable floral art (and craft) with the application of techniques such as "upcycling" that, used creatively, allows me to offer products made with alternative materials that are friendlier with the environment and nature.
Having more than 20 years of experience in the floral industry, as well as being an active member of the American Institute of Floral Designers® (AIFD®) and accredited as Certified Floral Designer® (CFD®) by this same institute, allows me to offer designs updated and avant-garde florals, without neglecting the classic styles that always delight and will never go out of style. I continually participate in floral congresses, both as an attendee and as a guest presenter, where I have had the opportunity to share knowledge and learn from great floral designers from America, Europe and Asia.
Using dried and preserved natural flowers as raw material, we ship anywhere in Spain, Europe and the world: corsages of flowers ready to be placed in a vase, centers already made to be worn on any table, corsages and boutoniers for those special occasions, flower crowns to hang on the doors and welcome those who visit us, bridal bouquets that will last for a long time, etc. etc. We also offer a line of very creative and completely handmade decorative items for you to display at home or work, or as an ideal and different gift.
Another of my passions is floral training. As an international teacher of floral design for more than 20 years, I have taught floral workshops in Costa Rica, Mexico, Panama, Nicaragua, Colombia, Puerto Rico and Spain; for this reason, at Flowers to Bloom I also offer courses and workshops, both with natural flowers as in dry and preserved material, for those who wish to learn the beautiful art of floral design, either to start a business, to improve their floral techniques, or simply as a hobby. If you are interested in scheduling a workshop with me for a group of people or a personalized class, you can contact me and we will coordinate it.
But at Flowers to Bloom we don't just send flowers and arrangements, we also send feelings. It is through the language of flowers that we can transmit, in a more effective way, that feeling for which, sometimes, words are not enough. Say it with Flowers… say it with “Flowers to Bloom”!
